The programs I use most to print are for documents and Paint.Net for images and photos. And I haven't changed any of my printing habits or installed any other printing software. This printer has worked for months with no issues whatsoever. I've removed and reinserted the paper, adjusted the paper guides and checked for paper jams.
I'm printing using Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit. Even though the software I installed from HP stated it was for the 7612. The printer name that appears in the printer list is: HP Officejet 7610 Series. I've also done a full factory reset using the touch screen display. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the proper software and drivers from the HP website and went through the procedure to reset the printer by unplugging everything, waiting and pluggin it back in. I use standard 8.5" x 11.0" plain printer paper and the default settings for the programs I use to print are set at either Letter, Legal or A4 paper size.
